Streamlining access processes and contractor management forms the basis of GoWorkforce. Recently we were able to roll out the software at Zeeland Refinery. The power of GoWorkforce really came to the fore when preparing for the upcoming major maintenance stop. All contractors working on the site were required to pre-register their employees through the GoWorkforce Cloud software. The employees then received an invitation to complete the registration process and to do the #Helix e-learning modules. Only once they completed this process were they permitted to access the site. All data was stored in the employee’s personal account, which they could manage themselves. This enabled Zeeland Refinery to know for sure that the required documents and qualifications of the employees were in order. Through the integration with #EAL, all relevant data was also available in the access control system. This ensured a considerably faster process and guaranteed that employees could get to work quickly at the start of the shutdown.
